• What is Apollolux Sound Suite? The Sound Suite will be a collection of open-source VST instrument and effect plugins for use in any VST-capable audio host.
• What is VST? VST stands for "virtual sound technology," created by Steinberg originally for use in their audio programs, but now made open-source so that not only can anyone who can program write one, any audio program can now include VST functionality to expand what the user will be capable of doing with/to created sound!
• Why open-source? The VST SDK (software development kit) is open-source, and to be honest, these are my first VST projects, so I'm making them open source so that not only can other people learn from them, other people can take them and improve upon them. Future VSTs written by me may not necessarily be open-source, as I eventually hope to make some decent money selling them as finished products.
